What about cold leads?


I lived at home making $13 an hour and built my old car.

Now I moved out and have a car payment, and rent. Things come together a bit slower LOL

Keep it up MM. Car is looking good!

the 96# injectors should help out as well as the change of the turbo.. so.. no

What i wanna know is....what the hell does David drive while he's changing setups/motors/tuning this beast of his, since it's his only car? Is he bumming a lotta rides....or just have some very gracious friends?

the fuel system change took an afternoon..
i borrowed my moms car to/from work the 2 afternoons it took to swap motors in the driveway..
tuning is 'on the fly'..

ran the boost at 18.5# tonight at the local track on my street tires and a completely full tank of gas.. raceweight was 3850.

2.15 60'
7.64 @ 101.56
11.24 @ 141.42 banging the limiter at 6800 across the line (tire is only 25.5" tall)
beat my old best mph on these tires by 3mph anyway

please note the 40mph gain on the second 1/8th that is gittin' it if I do say so myself!

So you swapped to an iron block and picked up only 50lbs overall throughout the swap?

no the 50# was the full tank of gas. car probably weiged 3750 or so with the aluminum block.. on 1/4 tank the car with me in it is dead on 3800
