Default Truck manifolds on ls1 heads facing forward?

Who has done this? How do they fit? I have my AC removed, power steering box is going in favor of manual rack.

Sweet! Thanks for the info! What alternator relocate bracket are you using? And did it clear the power steering pump? The pump is still in my car at this time, is the only reason I'm curious.

I've heard a Corvette relocate bracket might work? Or does it need fabricated?

Oh, all the emissions crap on the pass side of the motor is gone too so there is lots of room there.

i would call turbo tech, they sell the brack that they include in their street kit. The vette stuff wont clear the shock tower i dont think, and their pulley system is different, so youd have to change all that.

I havent done this im thinking about it, but have not thus far

yeah, but TTi has already done the work, I had one with my other kit and it was pretty nice, its just a matter of if you want to buy it or not. seems like a waste to me personally

I'm also looking into this truck manifold setup but the manifolds look pretty close the the frame. Any notching req'd? I'm ot sure if I'm not seeing the shaving/notching marks on the frame-manifold interference side.

I plan to buy a set soon and check out how they fit, I believe you have to remove AC and relocate alternator, possibly power steering too.

yeah. i got that part. I'm gonna be moving that crap anyway (trying to keep power steering but may try one of those electric assist instead of trying to keep the stock one).

I'm just wondering about the clearance by the frame.
