Default single or twin turbo

Is it worth getting twin turbos compaired to a single turbo. say for instance if you wanna run high to mid 9's how much difference will it be going twin if its worth it. I was gonna go twin but if i can run the same hp and number with a single i might as well run a single. also spool up time is it the same as a grand national meaning twin smaller turbos spools up faster than one bigg turbo?

You can go in the 9's with either a single or twin turbos.

the only restrant from choosing a twin vrs single should be packaging. What you can get in there, what you are willing to sacrifice or move to get in there.
I think a single will be easier to fab, if your doing it yourself. Just properly size the turbo and spool time will be to a minimum and power to a maximum.
Think BIG down pipe, that will be a big factor.

and a true T76 should get you into the nines, as long as your into to heavy, but mmmmmm T88 sure sounds yummie. but the 76 will spool alot better, as mine reached full boost (10psi) at 2700rpm

ok well i was looking and yes im doing it my self if i go with twin i think it will be easier but cost more cause of me getting 2 turbos instead of one just because i will not have to run a crossover pipe for the single. I jsut wander if i will have enough room in front of the motor to run a 76 between the motor and radiator then i will have to fit the intercooler in my nose meaning i will have to loose the bumber support i dont really wanna do that. twin turbo i can mount the turbos off the manifold down low and run twin intercoolers in the front lower corners right behind my fog lights meaning i dont ahve to remover my bumper suport, what do you all think about that. so i guess i answered my own question so far. but i can use you all feed back im not a professional at this. Now what turbos i need to get to run 9's im not trying to run in the 8's so i dont think i need twin 66 like harland. too fast for me right now hes flying

well one thing your going to have to move alot of stuff whether twin or single.
if you mount the turbos low your going to need a scavenge pump to pull the oil back into the pans. Also if your turbos are down low how are you going to get the down pipes routed to the back it could be done but i bet there will be alot of bends.
and like you siad if you do a single youll have to adress making enough room and moving stuff like the radiator or fans to get one there.

now for nines with what turbo(s) youll have to know how much power your gonna need to produce depending on your weight you could get away with 700rwhp, so the two turbos would have to support around 450HP each or one with 900HP

ok great information .the turbos are gonna be in front of the engine at the level right above the oil pan.so that will be just a tad bit higher than the oil pan from what i been researching. How do that sound so far i was thinking of 2 60-1 turbos
