Default ATi superdamper/ supercharger guys

Anyone running the ATI damper what size belt are you running for the main serpentine and AC?

I doubt this ATI is any different than any other ATI even though it came in the blower kit, the blower pulley just piggy backs on top the ATI anyway

i had to get a serpentine belt that is 1 inch shorter ( if i remeber correctly) when i put the ATI damper on. the a/c belt remained the same.

what are the advantages to running a super damper on a supercharger/turbo set up. Is there any need for it if your just running your alternator with the crank pulley?

A damper is supposed to help quell vibration in the crank to prevent as much crankshaft deflection/bending as possible. I dont know if the ones people run are always doing what they need to be, because from what I know on the subject (not that much ) they almost need to be tweaked for a particular combination. Different rotating mass weights, target rpsm etc should change the frequency and rpm where vibrations might occur

the other advantage is that you can "bolt" the crank pulley ( that drives the blower) to the damper instead of using dowels on the stock damper. ( trust me it works! and the peace of mind it provides is amazing )

What im asking, is it worth it, I took off my supercharger and went to a drag set up so all my crank is running is my alternator.

The ATI damper hub is keyed rather than pinned. A key is much stronger than a pin
