Default Sts At Sema

Just got back from the SEMA show and all I can say is WOW. If you have never went to a SEMA show you are missing the best show of your life. All the Big manufactures were there including the little ones.It was cool to see the STS guys in person and check out their two new kits. They are now making a turbo kit for The new GTO and Hemi powered pick up trucks. I personally witnessed at least 20 hard runs with the GTO back to back with only about a 1 minute time period to change out the passengers. That thing never skipped a beat.It ran strong all day and kept impressing everyone. By the end of the day STS became more popular then escorts in vegas .Big wigs in GM were takeing turns in the STS powered cars and were so impressed with there performance and quality;that they gave STS an award for having such a great product.Congrats to the whole STS team on their award. I'm very happy to be associated with such great team. Here are some pics.

Good to see STS get some love. I remember when I first saw a post on here about them everyone said it wouldn't work. Even I said it to myself. Well look now. We need people like STS that think outside the box. It gives us choices of what to do to our cars. Way to go STS!!!!

That's Cool that GM guys were taking rides. Too bad you didn't get some video of that Goat screaming around with the STS kit.

dang man. Looks like you got your pics up here before I did. I am waiting to get my pics hosted so I can. I have pics from inside the GTO when I went for a ride. I was lucky to have VIP passes to the proving grounds and I got rides in all the vehicles. Plus I got to meet Steve Saleen. I will post pics up when they are ready. Whats even better is STS won the Product of the year award. Now thats proving something I think.

Sorry Rick... I was fishing this morning and doing real estate stuff.

I got the 2 pics you wanted up. Check your email.

I think it is totally awesome they won the award! I was talking to Dave about how cool their customer service is despite the volume of calls they get each day. IMO they totally deserve it for such out-of-the-box thinking and actually getting it built and operational. Great work!

what does that trophy say? it looks like Dessert.... lol. I went and searched for info on SEMA, and found a bunch of category winners, but no product of the year winner....? I want to post this info elsewhere, just being a bit cautious before I do so.

Thanks for that..... I relayed the info, so far, my post on PurEvl's numbers has had only 5 replies, one flame, and four others saying the equivalent of: "dunno if I would want it, but it sure seems to work." My prior post was about 30 flames, from no one who had ever seen it or been in a car with STS. Now the flames seem to have gotten down to: "Its the easy way out for noobs, who are scared to do real mods." lol

I still think it's funny when iodiots say it's a kit for noobs.. I always thought noobs took the easy way out and always stuck with tried and true setups.. I know for a fact mine wasn't the easy way out...

I guess nitrous is for noobs too. LOL

Screw em I say. Half the people that talk **** are usually slow bench racers anyway. None of my PSCA racer friends every knocked my system. All they did was compliment it and agree that it is a pretty cool idea. If guys running 7s are sayin that and no-name losers on the internet are bashing it kinda makes you wonder who the noob is...

I just wish I was installing it now..... I would love to be the first in our group to do it. Funny thing is, my forum is all Hybrid cars, with either turbo conversions, or out&out engine swaps, many of which are SBC 350s.... but this kit really seems to offend a group that you would think would be a little less puritan. My car should be ready in about a year for T-56-LS1-STS.... should be a lot of fun.

Well, I say congrats. You deserve it...breaking paradigms

I'll buy one. I am currently working through investment oppurtunity and as motivation the STS turbo system is in my sight...along with other mods.

It kills me too that I couldnt make it. I was calling Johnathon several times a day asking "whats going on now".
I am also proud to be a part of STS.
