if you've ever had issues with bracket flexing and belt alignment, this is the answer!!
this strut brace has both left and right hand thread to adjust the head unit inward or outward. The biggest concern with the high tension serpentine belt drives and cog drives is the extra stress put on the front main crank bearing and supercharger bearing. We started manufacturing these braces originally for our mustang renegade cars (where the belt tension is high enuf to snap belts in half).. Essentially, you take all the load off the bearings in the motor/supercharger and transfer them to the bearings in the brace.. The ends are made from 1inch thick aluminum, along with the solid bar in the center. The all thread is 1/2 inch moly thread with 2 locknuts to lock the position down.
I will be selling these through speed inc. The crank pilot (piece that locates the strut in the center of the crank pulley) is manufactured by SS Racing. Any questions, feel free to PM or email me. Speed Inc and I are working on pricing as we speak..
BTW, we will have a version for any blower (Vortech, Paxton, and Procharger)

I don't know if it was yours 8seclt1, but I have seen these before, and a local guy here has run one similar before, but had problems with the bearings seizing up. I guess several guys have had this problem. It just caused more harm than good, and they eventually gave up on it. Hopefully yours have a better bearing in it, and it works better!
Good luck with it!!
Good luck with it!!
