7 Second Response!
Be advised, it appears someone within my facilty likes to play childish games.
I post as 1badls1 an have not posted since March 2004.
Congrats to Harlan and crew on the win. I curently do not have a seven second car at this time maybe one day. Some in this board are very childish and need to grow up. As I will not lower myself or be judged by those whom do not know what the hell their talking about other than the bullshit rumors they heard from someone else. Seems to be way much trash talk an not nearly enough work on their cars where there time should be spent.
For those that decide to form opinions without first hand knowlegde remember opinions our like *** holes and everyone has one. We took enough to Thunder to Dominate the class we ran in which shows because we got the win!! and Jason did a fine job well as all the crew. We race for ourselfs not to impress any of you. Take a minute to look at yourselfs before passing judgement on others, you may be more succesful in your own life. I've seen many negative post about many other shops an persons on this board that doesn't make any of it true. Kids play an hide over the internet while in person their quiet as a church mouse.
Best wishes sincerely Ron Duke.
congrats to you guys again on the win! I was hoping to meet up with you guys in the finals, but alas I don't think launching the car in 4th gear would've been a good idea. i guess if i shifted it normal might I have made it there, lol!!! maybe next time I will bring a spare tansmission.... oh hold on i don't have one of those
well you certainly had the horsepower under the hood as well in the pits to accomplish what you needed to!
congrats again, and yes your car did launch beautifully! Trending Topics
its like when you go out street racing...only without the street...and without the racing...so basically its pointless.

You did great until the trans went out. Guys like you and Pro Stock John know what racing is all about no BS just get it done. Glad to see you guys at Thunder, it was a great time for all. Now we just need all the kids to grow up on this board, and play well with others.
Ronnie
Thanks
Thanks
sorry but i don't consider my car a fish in the barrel!!!
don't get me started! my busted up heavy and slow *** lt1 holds it's own just fine! and believe me i had more to dish out! well i at least made 7 full passes that weekend! think about what you said...so everyone in MS/PA was **** next to Ronnie's car! sorry but i take that personally!
at least i don't make claims of bullshit! my car is what it is and nothing more. i highly doubt i could have beat ronnies car but i believe i could have made him run it hard and at least earn the win...if i didn't **** up my trans..oh the joys of shifting a car!!!

i am not leg humping anyone, just pointing out what i think of your ignorant comments.

Congrats on your win Ron.

1. The rules/classes were set.
2. His car fit those classes based on the rules.
Maybe he had plans to run hard in that class, and showed up to accomplish that goal. I'll never fault anyone that is running within the rules for trying to win.
you guys couldn't build a 7 second car if your life depended on it!!!
step back and watch how it's done!!!
then i can't understand what your problems with them are. i saw that car in person, hours before they hit the road to go down to Thunder, and they were still prepping the car!!! hahaha, you guys can really start some ****. that car more than put down the numbers as i was there for their 2 final dyno pulls before loading the car on the trailer. UNGODLY!!!! i also saw the chassis work that was done to this car, as did all who have followed the progress posted here or on their website.someone let me know if they did or said something that any one of us has not done or said ourselves. are they guilty of being over zealous about their car? who isn't? and if they did say something offensive, i'm curious as to what it was. i don't want to back someone who's not worthy of it, but from what i saw of their shop and meeting the crew that day, they're decent guys in my opinion.
later,
Dave
Don't start the APE debate again. Season is over, but they are gonna be out atleast once more.
As for what you missed, you missed alot. Get over it

There were a few shots across the nose for Ronnie, that's the point of chris's response.
But Ronnie's right, we all need to get to work on our cars. Just like he d.... oh wait
If anything, the APE guys should show you that it takes a lot more than throwing money and high dollar parts at a car to get it to run and win.
