I just checked out 01CamaroSS web page (www.hawksthirdgenparts.com) and one of their employees passed away on Sunday.....Sad to hear and my prayers go out to them....I assume this will probably slow them down as this is a difficult time for them.
Here is some info from their site

I am putting one in a 3rd gen !I have no need for a FBODY "Kit"..........if you take the time to read this post you´ll get hints how to fit the KB or Maggie in a 4th gen Fbody without cutting the cowl.....but it would take $ to fab a new lower k.member , different engine mounts and then new Headers that catch up for the lower sitting engine!
If you dont mind cutting the cowl a slow 550HP kit is on the market!

If I was rebuilding a wrecked 4th gen I'd probably consider either cutting the cowl or reshaping the front window/dash to pull the cowl back like the 3rd gens. But I don't have any plans on cutting up my baby.

I wonder how high up it actually sits, because i would iomagine that you could produce motor mounts or a new k-member that would substantially lower the engine if you wanted to.
