I would go with the procharger....but the D1 not the P1

reason why.....I already spent $1500 on headers, and they are more valuable when paired up qith a D1 as opposed to an STS

I like my Corsa catback too much to give it up

I think the single exhaust looks pretty gay (I know you can fab up a dual exit) who knows maybe one day i'll go with the STS, but I would def like to see it in person 1st

you know what, your the first guy I have seen with an intelligent opinion, the corsa does look sweet.

I ran the d1 but switched anyway but I got cheesy hookers so it wasnt hard to decide. Its all in what you want, d1 made monster power but has issue, STS made even more power alot sooner and I have been able to actually drive the car with a much smaller cam and well...no belt issues or surge issues either. I dont think you can go wrong either way personally. I have owned both and still have the d1 laying around in case I get another toy.

Naturally, I am a little partial, but even if I were not a dealer I would pick the STS.
Ease of install, easy to turn up, no belt, not rpm dependant. Look a Purevls car. He had a D1 and made 630. He changed the the STS, went with a smaller cam and at a little less boost made more power. The tip issue is easy to deal with, so that shouldnt even be a factor. This is a kit that you could install yourself or even if you had it installed at a shop, it is not expensive.

Go with the STS because i have it! Installed it myself in 13 hours (one person = me 18 yrs old) with jack stands and hand tools! Great sound, head turner, saved money , waiting to get tuned so that i can put it on boost! Great all around system only problem is the clearance issue. Had to put stock springs back on in order to get enough clearance. But other than that Couldn't get better!!!

I will be getting a STS kit. I like the ease of the aplication, good power for fun driving (not race car). I like being different. that is why I own a Hawk as well.

Angus, we are installing a kit on a Hawk right now. Sweet car. It only has 4k on it. He has off road y, a huge Dynomax I pipe, and a Yank stall. The car sounds awsome. Its a Formula Firehawk too. Dont see many of them.

I like my STS kit so much on my truck that I may put one on my T/A but not go as radical. Just a bse kit and meth injection.

I like the idea of making good power on stock exhaust manifolds, IE no leaks... I just hate the idea of losing my Corsa but hell, a turbo sounds better anyway. I just may have to steal the tips off it. LOL

STS kit...
Less expensive on the initial purchase
Easy install (if not easier)
With the right equipment, you can vary your boost level
More power in lower rpm's.

I picked the STS because starting from a stock setup, it's a lot more affordable. The lower price for the kit and more economical installation are plusses. With some upgrades, the kit has pretty decent potential. If I already had headers and the like, though, the ATI would look more attractive.

I picked Procharger........

If I were to build a true street car I may go with STS. Or the 2.4L twin screw KB thats coming soon!

Are you looking for the twin screw for the GTO or the SS?

They are working on 1 for the vette right now, I assume the GTO will immediately follow that.....then *maybe* we'll see something for the F-body

if it fits a vette it will fit a GTO. All you would have to change is where the heat exchanger goes.

I'll take the tips of your hands when you get the STS kit for the T/A. I like the sound of the turbo, but it looks horrible on the camaro. They look a lot better on T/A's because of the ground effects. I like my charger. I love the whistle at low rpm. I even like the BOV sound. Of course the turbo is louder. My vote goes to the Charger.

I read on you'lls website that the turbo kit can be taken off in 2 hours with no signs at all ? I thought there was some kind of oil return line for the turbo ?? Dont you have to cut a hole in your oil pan or something?

Not your oil pan. There is a plate that GM had pre-drilled that hasn't gone all the way through. You finish drilling through it and thread it.
To take it off you would have to find a way to cap it off with like a bolt and a washer.
It is the plate with the snout on it that is right next to the oil filter on the F-Bodies.
