26 Mpg!!!

26 Mpg!!! I wanted to let everyone know, I took a trip to Louisville KY, last weekend, drove between 70-80 mph, getting on it once or twice on the way back. Calculated 2 different times, once was 26 MPG and the other was 25 MPG. Not bad for 800hp.

you know, it's funny... It's like we've got all the power we want. Now we brag about good gas mileage. 
kind of the opposite of what it started as. 
Incredible... these motors are amazing. When I first installed my cam I made a 300 mile trip... loaded with me, my wife, daughter, and luggage. I averaged 28-29mpg fore the whole trip @ 75mph and A/C on.... while putting down near 400rwhp.
Gotta love my 6spd.

I am glad to see we can make nice power and still get decent mileage. That is my goal on my car as well. It is a daily driver in the warmer weather so mileage is a factor. And so is the ability to give anything on the road a run for it's money! I have been wondering about this when I mod my car and am glad to see it is possible to find a good balance. Thanks for posting the info.
