Default Road Race with FI setup?

Does anyone road race with forced induction on a C5 here? I am debating getting a D1SC kit with a front mount IC but wanted to know if I am looking at future problems. I currently have the LG Motorsports radiator with internal Oil cooler. I also do not have the AC condensor in the car for more air to the radiator.

I would recommend going with a roots type blower like the magnuson instantaneous torque down low where you want it.

a turbotech twin kit with properly sized turbos would do great

TTI is looking interesting. Corvetteforum has a forced induction section that is active. Should be some new kits on the market very soon.

I had the same issues in mind when I chose a FI setup; I still wanted to be able to hit the road course once and a wile. I was told to do a water-cooled turbo setup. Then everything stays cool enough to go wide open for 20 min. runs. There’s lots of TT porsche’s on the track. Unfortunately the only water-cooled setup now is from LPE for big bucks. But for my f body a nice used Incon kit is just what the doctor ordered. The Incon kit also came w/ cast iron manifolds that can handle the continuous abuse without the worry of cracking. Ill let you know how it does next season when I save up some more money for brakes, rims and tires.

I would go with Air-To-Air intercooler setup for a road course setup. The D-1SC will be great because of the instant and predectable response u get from it. I road course my car alot and i just installed the D-1SC on my car. Anyways once the next season opens im taking my car to road course race it.

the TTi kit comes with cast manafolds, not sure if the turbos are water coold, but i bet you could buy some to fit on the kit if you or a shop does a little bit of work

Thanks for the responses. As some have said wait until next season... Can't wait that long as I will be racing again in March. I am worried about oil/water temps with a blower. With my current setup I am getting 260/230 on hot days and that is with a LG radaitor with oil cooler. I am afraid that I will be back near that 280-300 mark on oil which I don't think the motor will last long at those temps.

Maybe a big motor is the better plan?
