Default 02 C5 with Magnuson - Before / After With LG Motorsports G5X-B cam

Before was done with Dual filter intake, Corsa Cat Back, 1 5/8 Shorty headers and Magnuson intercooled blower with stock pulley

After is all the above plus QTP long tubes, LG Motorsports G5X-B cam, Comp 921s, and cats removed!

Car was kinda a slouch before the cam as it was torqey but missing that extra power... the cam fixed that problem making it pull STRONG all the way to 7000 rpm, while maintaining stock drivability, a good lope and INCREDIBLE pull throughout the rev range! this car is a FIERCE freeway car since it has stock gears and has top end like ive never felt from a vette around here before for having stock heads and bottom end! I HIGHLY recommend the cam to ANYONE looking for more power with the blower but do not want to sacrifice drivability! I think the car might have had a little more with an agressive tune but we tuned it for 91 octane as that is all we have here, and it still had stock run flats on heavy wheels. I believe we are going to crack 500 rwhp easy with the electric water pump and normal street tires when he comes back soon!

Enjoy!

6 PSI both ways... the magnuson doesnt like to give more boost Far as the cam specs, I think Lou is keeping them secret!

the magnason will certainly make more power at higher psi than 6 psi. they become inefficient at over 12 psi but still make great power. easily push that thing to atleast 10 psi. it is basically the same blower as my Lightning's eaton M112.

personally i'd like the power shifted down more toward the midrange, wonder if he change the duration to do that. The cam doesn't even wake up till 5-5500 rpm.

its just a stock pulley on it... not my car, but if he wants to install it I sure will for him

did you not notice the peak torque at 2100 rpms? the car pulls unlike any other car ive ever felt... there really isnt any way to get the horsepower up quicker on a blower car because the blower is belt driven... im sure a turbo could change the power curve though

no i don't see the PEAK torque at 2100 rpm but the torque curve is nice and flat which is just like mine but once again you really don't see the big increase till after 5500, that's great for racing for me i'd rather have the more usable power down low
I thought the magnuson's get to boost quicker than centrifugals like mine and that weren't as dependent on rpm.
I'm sure the AFR's would give this car that nice midrange power that would be very complimentary to the high rpm power it already has.

Nice job

A pulley change and a real set of headers will show 510+RWHP easily
