It's great that it is $200 off of... ummmmmmm..... oh wait, still no pics or final pricing on the site. But hey, it's good that I now know that Rick "The Player" Irvin is no longer employed.

Seriously though, do you know what the final price is for the kit? What are the options with the kit? And not that it has anything to do with anything, but who the hell is Rick Irvin and why do I care that he worked for you for 3 months?

I asked about this so many times and get nothing. They have one pic that really shows nothing and no price. They have a link that says full story on kit but there nothing there. Can we get some info on this kit?

WOW OK OK

The system is complete and there are pic's posted on our website.
There are no prices posted because you need to call Jose for that
information.

Details> The system has 3 choices for intercooling.
And many choices for turbos. It all depends on how much power you
want to make. The kit is sold as a tuner system, that is without fuel
and engine management. If you do want that added then contact
forcedinductions.com.

Basic pricing will be like this.

non intercooled is 3900.00 and then add your turbo.

Air to air intercooled is 5100.00 and then add your turbo.

Air to water is 5500.00 and then add your turbo.

Turbo prices vary on size.

The first post was intended to show people the kits are on sale not a
biography on the company.

As far as "The Playa" it is a joke for those who know about it.

If there are any customers who are serious about a turbo system then
call myself or contact Jose @ 1 256 658 5798

Thanks, Dalton

well I for one am glad this thread got started, everyone was talking about how the PTK system was going to be like 4500 and FI would rule the world for LS1's.

if you want an intercooled system its 5100, WITHOUT a turbo.

Im not ******* the PTK system at all, I for one hope it works out well and is a great kit. its just not what people were thinking it was

$3,900.00 for a set of headers, cross over and associated piping? Damn I'm in the wrong business. Are they powder coated or ceramic coated?

Ain't that the truth... it was from this annoyingly misleading post:

PTK has decided to make the F-body kit a single system. The kit will use a large air to air Intercooler with 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 headers. It will include Tial 50mm BOV and Tial 40mm Wastegate or Turbonetics Racegate . Downpipes will be 2 1/2 to 3" depending on application. Base turbo will be PTE's T-67 so the kit will be rated 750hp, but can be upgraded up to the PTE-76GTS or PTE GT-42. Kit will include fuel components (injectors, FMU, fuel pumps..etc). We are excited about getting these kits out on the market. The kits can be ordered in several different trims. The prices below right now are for a complete kit with fuel components included.

Prices are subject to change.

Mild Steel $4500

Stainless Steel $5200

Yes we understand that, but usually when it says that it runs for the price posted for a little bit then changes. The price changed before it even hit the road. Why put a price out there if it's not even gonna be close to the price posted. And yes we all understand the price subject to change. It's just waiting for the kit to be released according to the price that was posted. That's what kept me waiting, then the price comes along and it's not what I though. oh well. It's a great kit, just not what I thought it was gonna be.

Those two posts are completely different. One says fuel management included, one says none. One says base turbo, the other says plus turbo.

Are they talking about the same kit??

Okay, I was sure that was going to vary a little... but usually one would expect prices to stay at least within 5%-10% of the officially announced price. In this case it went from $4500 with PTE-67 ($975), Injectors ($300), Fuel Pump ($150), FMU (?) and A2A intercooler. To $5100.00 without the Turbo, injectors fuel pump etc. So we are looking at $4500 vs. $6525. That's a 45% increase. It is what it is. Not so much upset, just saying that when people said it was supposed to be $4500... that's because that was the pricing that was originally released.

I dont think that anyone is saying that the kit may not be worth it, but this kit is unproven, there are no real pics of hte kit installed, just a few snap shots of some coated piping on their web site.

And for the guy who said prices subject to change, yeah prices can change, but your talking about almost two thousand dollars more than the original projected price. Once you add in turbo, fuel, tunning, all the little things that make it a kit as opposed to hot side parts.

hopefully this kit work out well, but if your spending 5.1k for a kit without turbo and fuel and tunning. then you might as well spring for the TTi race kit.

Im waiting for some pictures of the kit on a car, pictures of the piping laid out, and then some dyno numbers. I cant imangine buying a kit that I dont know about how much it will putout. The parts that I have seen look to be good, and it will be nice to see a kit that is large enough to support a big turbos and make alot of power.

I think its just too early to have a winter special without any more information

Well, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the HP Motorsports kit... hopefully they won't choose to gouge us when they see what other companies are charging us for FI stuff. If they do... well... I have a tig welder, knowledge and vacation time.

PS- I still think having a company that is still around and tubular headers makes the PTK (or HP Motorsports) kit worth roughly a $1,500-2,000 premium over a previously owned CAS kit... but I will concede that now brings my value for the CAS kit up to $4750... Which to me, is about $250 more new (tuner kit only), and $1,750 more previously owned than I would be willing to pay for a kit rather than just build the damned thing myself... but that's just me.
