just looking to see where the LT1 car's are....

 

I have a friend here in Orlando with a 383/ YSI Trim LT1, it`s tuned by Cal Hartline( turbo GN fame). The car ran 9.81@139 with a T Trim, that I bought. His car should run low 9s at the begining of 05.

 

Intmd8 has a turbo lt1 that would hurt most of our feelings. We are gaining as a whole (lt1/ls1) on the Fords but still have a ways to go.

Not sure of ultimate goal yet, but will for sure be comfortably in the 9's!

BTW Gator's, Sikora mentioned your name in passing when I ordered his brackets from him. What's the story on the 383 you're having FMS build? I'm really curious to see what Allan can do with an LT1!

 

The fast fords aren't doing it with the stock block though..

 

i am interested in what futral can do with a 383 YSi as well been a long project but it is coming together. it is your basic 383 LT1 canfield headed (ported by Futral/Meaux), hydraulic cam, BS3, LT1 intake (ported as well), YSi, 8 rib, FMIC, TH400, moser rear, etc etc. this is going to be a drag radial car so it isnt a max effort ET car but it should be fun. hopefully by january sometime i will have some results.

 

With any luck, I should be getting my car back from Speed Inc. in the next week or so. Hopefully, I will be able to do some 9.60s@150mph with my YS Trim 383ci LT1/6-Speed car...

ya I know and It took that long for me to get mine all set up BUT It just sucks! Who wants to wait that long! Ya KNOW.

 

Trust me, I would rather have it done tomorrow, but I go to school full time and have to pay for everything, Im doin what I can.
Cant wait til its done
