Default p1sc and sts question

Well to start let me tell you my plan for the car. I want a car that response to the pedal. I also want probadly at most a 500hp at wheels daily car and still pass smog including visual. These days in the bayarea chp are targeting fast car and making them pop the hood. I don't want do deal with the hassle of getting sent to state ref. Now on the sts I like it but don't like the one tip option. I heard of someone saying to run the second pipe off the blow off valve area (not sure...) Also I'm worry about how much lag is there... Now on the p1sc I currently do have a gmmg with borla y pipe setup. Would I benefit from the new bassani true dual setup for the p1sc? How is the throttle response on the p1sc? I plan to run a obx intercooler with either setup. I'm also curious which one will give me a more mph (topend) setup?

The throtle reponse on the SC will be better but the turbo will have more power sooner in the rev range.

highspeed. I live in the bay area and sold my 500rwhp p1 setup for my STS kit.

I haven't got mine up and running yet but running around in some other STS cars I wouldn't say the throttle responce on the p1 is better.

you should give Rick at Synergy Motorsports in Fremont a call. he is the Northern California STS dealer and can provide you alot of info.

I am happy to answer questions, show you my setup, (when I finally install it ) etc.. as well.

as for you exhaust question, if you go duals say bye bye to smog legal.

about the duals basani came out with a catback yes catback with x pipe that does not alter the stock cats. Anyways I been in Ricks car and yes it's fast but hearing what you say about the p1sc makes me want to go for the sts even more...I'm just really concern about the throttle response.. Btw how hard do you think it will be to make a dual exhuast setup with the sts? Are you going to do that? If I got sts I will for sure to get a dual tips setup just concern on how hard it would be..

do you know who the southern cali dealer is or have a website or number?

I to would hate to not have dual tips, but thats real easy to fix, there are plenty of way to make a pipe stick out hte back end, it may not have exhaust come out of it, but at least it will be there like a wooden leg. I have also heard of running it off the blowoff valve

i am going to install a second tip and run the output from the wastegate to it.
I am using supertrapp mufflers as the tips so I can muffle that wastegate sound.
Some love it. I hate it.
If you want both just for exhaust it's easy enough to do.
Just a couple bends here and there and a weld or two.

why? you dont get any more flow or hp from having 2 tips when theres only 1 pipe feeding them both. most people just want the second tip because it looks goofy with only 1. like i said, you wont gain any performance by having another tip with exhaust coming out of it so why not just put a fakie on there?
