Since temperature are low and no harsh chemicals the anodizing should not flake off for quite some time.

Anodizing can add .0005-.001 worth of material to a part. And to get the housing done and not effect inside specs have them plug it. Also you will to tell then what allow it is, 6061 or 2020, etc. I had a set of moroso cast covers polished an done. they looked like crap, the aluminum was a mix and just did not work.

Im a professional anodizer and i can tell you that you your turbo housings will look like crap if you get them anodized.......Cast Aluminum doesnt anodize well.....It turns all black and smutty looking. I would just polish them if i were you.
