Awsome job guy's. Two years ago if you told some one you wanted to go low 8s on that combo they would laugh at you and call you crazy.

Now you guy's need to start making some phone calls to some big companys for some $$$$ help. My friend was in the same boat as you (low budget) and he started burning up the phone and now (2 years later) he runs in the NMRA outlaw and is in the top 5 in points.

Good luck and go gettum.

Has there ever been a car that ran in the 7s with a hyd cam?

Congrats guys. Keep pushing the envelope! Can't wait to see it run in April on the "big" tires.

Thanks again to all!! To answer a few of the ?'s We were running in heavy street in Bradenton, the car had to weigh 3500#,we were tipping in at 3550# after each pass! As far as other cars in the 7's on a hydro cam i'm not sure but i bet there arent many. As far as the fastest true ls1 comments go, thanks they are appreciated, not taking anything away from hardcoes times anyone who can get one of these stock suspended tanks down the 1320 on a 10.5 tire deserves their due credit, where hardcore is killing us is the fact that are running a solid roller with c5r heads, i could care less about the block, plus the chassis experience that their crew has is priceless. Everytime we go to the track we just have to try **** and see what happens ,somtimes it goes straight and sometimes it doesnt! I'm not saying that 7's will come easy to us but after a tire change and about a 150-200lb. diet it will happen! Thanks again,Steve Turley
