Default magnacharger on a F-body

has anyone done one just curious what all would need to be modified or if one would fit at all???

You have to cut the cowl. Not many people are willing to do this.

I've never seen it done. I've been on this site for a while and the other site for 4 years. Heard that one guy has done it (with a lot of fabbing up) but never seen any pics or proof.

Pro Stock Jon was talking about a company that was supposed to be making a system for us using the magnacharger unit, but i haven't heard anything about it in months. try pming him and let us know

save your money and wait...got off the phone with them...product is in the works...should be completed around november...with a price tag around 5gs

Who did you get off the phone with? The company PSJ has been talking to or Magnacharger?

I am waiting to hear more info on this as well, I would love to have full boost right off idle. But who knows if the intercooler version is going to come out or not, they are still working on it, I might go turbo before then though.

that does look good. a quick question though, what blower is used for the magnacharger (displacment and dismentions)????????

yes i think it is a eaton unit, i guess i started this post after reading an article in the latest GM hightech about the magnachargers and how their performance, and how efficent there are. looks to be an excellent product!

there was a company that mounted 2(!!!!) on a vette. lloked very nice appar from the stupid covers they put on! would be ace if someone would produce a twin blower version. 1000bhp potencial and ultimate bling!

I have the same blower on my truck and wish I would have got a centrifugal s/c. They are efficient and look great but I can't boost that much out of it.

The twin setup usually goes on boats.
