Exhaust for turbo

Guys is it true that flowmaster dont work well in a turbo setup, i remember reading it has something to do with the scavenging affect the baffles create in the exhaust, i was told it was best to use dynomax or similar brands

im not running that much either. i have my 2 4" downpipes off the turbos, and thats it. they dump under the cab

how loud is your exhaust without mufflers, i know the turbo acts like a muffler, but i dont want that raspy, popping sound

it's still going to sound like crap until your in boost... if you wanted a nice sound with minimal backpressure I would look into a dump setup with a bullet muffler. Creates a little backpressure and a good tone but isn't enough to "clog" you up. Or another option would be to run electric cutouts and a normal exhaust system and just flip open the cutout when you wanted to race...
