Which is better, c16 or 110 oct?
oh, haha, um. well all i know is its a completely upgraded fuel system. im assuming that high impedance inj's require lower fuel pressure, is that correct?
im gettin all new lines, aeromotive fuel pump, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and other supporting mods i believe.

Base fuel pressure in an LS1 is like 58psi or something, I forget.
For pre-98 LT1 cars and other stuff from the 90's, it was 43psi.
But I think that most folks go with the lower base fuel pressure when upsizing injectors for (a) tuneability or (b) fuel economy?
Jim @ Speed Inc. just turned up my car's base fuel pressure since I was maxing out my injectors, so I am now at 50psi base fuel pressure with my Siemen's 83s.

ya, stock is 58psi, but i guess its gonna depend on what allan decides to do. im thinking i should be fine, and he is extremely busy(sometimes works till 3-4 in the morning) so i dont wanna bother him. i wonder what the limits of the pressure on the fuel pump and lines are.
The 75#ers are rated at a 43psi base (3bar) so they are bigger at our FP of 58psi (4 bar) Now with fuel pump max psi i know Mightey Mouse is running a 60psi base with a 20 psi rise thru is rate rise FP Reg....

allan loves c16, but dont bother tuning it on c16 unless 1) you are ready to pay for 7.50 a gallon and 2) you want to run on this gas.
oh boy, is allan gonna have fun with this project. its gonna be nuts to see what he can do with such small injectors. i would look to the fuel pump as a limit as well.

it has mostly to do with the fuel pump he is gonna use. if he is gonna get an A1000 pump, i think with those injectors (75#) - 700 rwhp shouldnt be a problem on any fuel futral wants to use. less than race gas and it gets tricky. really you have to tell us what parts are gonna be used, you cant just throw out numbers like 700 on pump gas and 900 on race gas sorta deals. you need to discuss the fuel system because there are limits at every stop in a build like this. sure the turbo can support 1000+ rwhp but will the rest of the combo?
well this is the list, as updated as i have right now. so unless he has changed anything, this is what im assuming its gonna be:
Aeromotive eliminator pump
aeromotive fuel filter
aeromotive regulator
hi flow fuel rails w/fittings
98 sumped tank.
i believe there are upgraded fuel lines too if i remember correctly. im sure there are some other surprises that will be added, cause things change, just like i thought i would only need 1 waste gate. so this stuff is obviously not for sure yet, we'll have to see the final product which hopefully should be done in a couple weeks or so, assuming he doesnt get people like me bugging him and calling him all the time

If you need injectors in the 96+ range, have significant fueling demands. Getting a pump that will flow enough fuel at a high pressure is a demanding proposition.
Also consider, injector sizing is not ultimately decided by the HP requirement. The RPM requirement demands BIG injectors.
FWIW, i was seeing 13ms pulsewidth at thunder last year with my 160's. Albeit I was on the very rich side, 10:1 to 10.5:1, but at an 8K RPM shiftpoint you've only got 15ms worth of time to inject.
