sts dyno# need help

Default sts dyno# need help

I installed sts kit with GT67 upgrade dyno @5psi 417hp 457trq . Boost in @ 3200 to 5700 very happy.... installed FMIC # not so good @8psi 450hp trq keep's falling as boost went up, boost in at 4200 falls on it's face @5500 could this be valve float or something eles. and i have moved boost ref. from the back to the front......

What does the a/f look like at 5psi and then at 8 with the fmic?

Got a graph? Valve float will certainly show, would be very choppy.

Where are you measuring your boost? Have you relocated the vacume line to the manifold after the FMIC install?

Then like Billy asked. What about your AFR and your injector duty cycle? Are you simply maxing out the fuel system? What is your timing set at and are you pulling timing on the top end?

Sounds like valve float to me. Or it could be a leak somewhere.

boost ref. at front brake booster vac. walbro255 timming from13 to 18 i think injecters are 60% 42lb.

I've found about 90% of the cars I do will get valve float when trying to run 8lbs on them.Ussually the power just drops at 4500rpm or so,sometimes earlier.Comp 918's fix the problem

I'd give you a definite answer if I see the graph.
