Default Need some help please???

How will this cam do in a 355 with a t trim.

276HR-12 07-503-8 224/230 .503/.510 112 (+4)

This cam was in a 355 I bought with an S trim. Heads do have some work but how extensive I'm not sure as I'm no expert on port work. I bought a t trim and I'm going to run lots of boost with a fmic and shoot for as close to 700rwhp on pump gas as I can get. I was thinking having the cam advanced to a 114 for the blower and due to the fact that I'm going to spray a 200 shot. Let me know some opinions though. I'd hate to let this hold me back. Thanks in advance, Jarred

I'm New to the FI scene but why so little Lift. wouldn't you gain from higher lift to get more air into/outof the cylinders?

Most small NA Camswith 224 duration Are Still .580ish lift.

Your saying you want .503/.510 lift with only 224 /230 duration are you sure it's not .603/610 lift?

It's an LT1 cam first off.

IMO I would not run that cam, you have some big power goals. You can sell the cam for $250 and get a new one for not much more.

I think the key is to focus on your 700rwhp goal and get the right cam to hit that number. Also factor in how high you plan to buzz the engine.
