TTi Street kit Updated Crossover Modification
TTi Street kit Updated Crossover Modification So, I have had the kit on the car for about two weeks now. The car was sitting really low after the Iron block and turbo install, and the TTI crossover took a beating.
I am going to be raising the car up a hair this week and decided to strengthen the crossover pipe for any future impacts. I added a 16 gage steel plate, and slightly ovaled the pipe. I think it really turned out trick! I am thinking of getting the crossover pipe ceramic coated, but I am not sure about that yet.

So you did this because it WAS dented from cruising around for 2 weeks??? You hit any potholes??? Looks like it will hold up alot better now..

Yeah, with the car sitting low and the TERIBLE roads around this state, it took a beating. Can't really get it up any higher. 2.5" crossover, just behind the K-member.

looks good. I had the same problem after my install, I had eibach sportlines on my car and with that crossover i was not even able to drive it home from speed inc i had to have the stock spring put back on. I could only imagine what the thing would have looked like. It still does not have all that much clearance. The crossover does look good and hope it helps you out.
