just need someone with sts oiling system knowledge to wAlk me through this bag oF parts...no directions, though they were kind enough to assist with the parts on this project... Ive taken the last 30 days off from working on it, but Im gonna spend sunday on it...all thats left is oiling, relocating some brake lines...re-hanging the IC pipe..should be almost done if i figure out the proper fitting config.

I wish my truck still sounded like that. It has too much exhaust noise now in comparison. Are you running cats or a cam Chris?

Stock cats and manifolds, no cam. No engine work. but I think cam and heads are next on the list.

I can't complain though, I'm making 20-25 mpg and 500+ at the crank on a stock 5.3

That's why yours still sounds nice and clean. Remove those cats and stick a big cam in there and then talk to me about ugly noise. Hahahaha

Sup Justin,

Ordered my STS and will proabably get them installed on Monday the 28th. I know my truck is loud now but I'm really curious to see how it sounds after the turbo.

Good deal!

If you keep cats on the truck it will sound pretty clean. Without them and a big cam it gets rougher but not too bad. I just don't like the way LS1s sound anyway. I used to be a Mustang guy so I'm biased to good sounding engines. LOL
