Default Twins on a 2004 Z06?

2004 LS6 Corvette.......Bone stock and very few miles. I have added, upgraded and tastefully pimped out the interior. Instead of paying another 30K for a 2005 Z06.....I want more power in what I have.

Not really a daily driver but I do go out in it on sunny days. 8.08 et in 1/8 mile is my best time. Power is infectious!

How about twins on a LS6? Any info and your experience would help.
Thanks
Chris

Z06 has a little bit higher compression then a regular vette. They make several twin turbo kits for our cars. I know of one kit (not a sponsor) that made 670 with 9.5 psi on a STOCK Z06 Of course you cant expect your engine to last long under that kind of force.

I'm definitely going to do it. Love drag racing too much not to do it and I have a bit of experience with Twin turbo's on a limited street car producing 2200 hp @25lb's of a possible 30 lb's boost; but, the bottom end was built for the abuse.

Z06's should withstand 5, 6, or 7 lb's with an excellent tune. The system or finding the kit is the challenge. I just left the STS site and noticed one may be in production.

How about Banks engineering? Has anyone heard of a kit in production?

6 psi is around 550 rwhp. Its a bit much for stock internals. http://www.turbochargedpower.com/Corvette.htm

There are several kits out. TTi has a new stage "X" kit that's very impressive.

Check here for more TT kit info:

BTW, you should be able to run 8-9 lbs with a good tune on a Z06.

Don't know what you want to spend, but one word comes to mind, Lingenfelter.

You can run 5-7 PSI safely with enough fuel/injector, and a good tune, have the AFR at 11:1 on the sheet and reduce timing....pump gas, should make at least 500 rwhp on a stock Zo6....if not more

IF you want bling bling, then the PTK is worth a look. It has the over the top headers, and is suppose to put out decent power, but haven't seen any dyno sheets yet. They make some killer Mustang turbo systems though.

If you want a tested Twin setup, that is stealthy, then I'd definitely look at the TTi Stage X kit. There are stock cube C5's that are putting out 700+rwhp (not Z06's). This is my favorite (maybe until the Phamspeed one comes out, but we'll see).

Good Luck!
