Its a good kit and I think his power was at 9-10 lbs.

A friend of mine is putting 630rwhp on stock bottom with a P1 and heads & cam. I am still running 530rwhp and it has been over a year and a half with about 15,000 miles and a lot street and freeway runs.

Sooner or later you are right, however I am running meth with a quart of Torco in each tank of 93 octane. I know some people pushing more power than me to the wheels and after 2 years are still running. My car is not my DD, so if it goes kaboom, I'll go forged. I am planning a build for this summer after I finish remodeling my house. If you have a safe tune and take the necessary precautions IMO you have a chance to run for a while, although each hard run is taking a chance. I went into this knowing what I was doing(risking), so I am prepared to deal with the consequences. The car only has 19,300 miles so engine is fresh and I'm only pushing 9.4psi. BTW, your first post was adequate in making your point, your second was to invite smart *** remarks such as you second post

It was my DD, but know is just the after work driver and weekend warrior. Got a 96 lumina as my DD now. Miss the power, but save on the gas. I was in Oakland CA yesterday and seen a gas station that was at 4.07 a gallon. This **** is getting expensive.

This is a loaded question to me there are alot of things to consider, tune, fuel, meth, turbo or blower, driving habits ( beatin on it to one maybe babying it to another). Every engine is diffrent one may pop at 500 one may live forever at 700 its just the nature of things. There isnt a set power level that your's is going to live at.

WERD.

Plenty of people with well tuned vehicles making 6 pr 7 undred horsepower on the bottom end,..even for extended periods of time.

I think alot of factors come into the whole idea of any given bottom end lasting. I think alot of reasons of engine failure are owner/driver error. Can't tell you how many times I hear the story of a manual tranny car that blows up cause the owner downshifted,...when they should of up shifted. Or how about all of you that don't regualry check your oil? Most LSX powerplants burn some oil. Do you often check your people? ****, I had a cobra, that loved to eat motors. One week oil wold be good, next time,...theres a knock, check oil,..and wow,..where did it go? Check your plugs lately? You lazy bastards.

Point is,..alot of the time you can't always blame the motor. Yeah, I know, I know,..nobody here has driver error right?

Good fuel, safe tune, proper maintenance,....and a good driver ensure the possibilities of the long term life of your high performance engine. However,...**** happens one way or the other. Be prepared.

Over 13k miles on boost at 8 psi and 2k on 12 psi. Over 500 on at 8 psi on mustang dyno. Bumped timing to 19 and 12 psi and it feels like I got another 80rwhp easy. Pulled the motor last week as I sold the heads to a buddy and block to a member on here and motor looks in graet shape. The intake runners where clean and exhaust with little build up... The benefit of using e85. Putting in a low mileage ls2 with stock compression on e85. I'll dyno when done and report back.
