Default Many questions about my Radiator

When I posted the initial pictures of my radiator location and after the Autorama I have had a hundred questions:

Where is your radiator?
Will it work that low?
Where is your water pump?
How will you attach the -12 hose to the motor mount?

etc.. etc..

So here you go!

This is how the radiator is mounted. It is tucked up under the front facia.

Clean and hidden out of the way.

I do not have a standard water pump. I have a Meziere remote water pump and here is how I will attach the -12 lines from the pump under the frame to the motor mount.

I can mount the radiator that low because I got a Meziere expansion tank. As you can see, the tank has the filler cap on it and it will be located higher than the radiator. It also comes with -4 bungs for the head steam vents.

None of this stuff is custom! It is all on the shelf at Meziere.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Nope, it is back apart. The mini tubs are going in and the rear end is getting shortened some more. 29.5 W's are in my future!

The radiator is a griffin scricco radiator.

The block adapters are WP89U. You will will also need 4 WP12012B -12 fittings. I have 2 -12 fittings welded to the top of the radiator and a -8 on the bottom along with the standard nipple. The pump will fill the block first and return from the top to the 2 -12's in the top of the radiator.

The BS3 is the only way to go. The user inteface is much more friendly when compared to FAST. You can also buy the Racepak sensors and plug them into your BS3 ECU. There is no need to buy the actual Racepak software. This will save you big money. If you're not going to datalog at least ge the RPM, Driveshaft Speed, Wheel Speed, and G-Meter. Those will help A LOT with tuning a good 60' and 330' time.

If you're interested let me know when you're ready to get the BS3. I'll get you a VERY good price.
