Default PTK LT1 car finall made a track pass with T88

Well guys my customer called this morning and was able to make a track pass with his 355 LT1 with the PTK kit and custom T88. Car ended up making 1012rwhp/909rwtq at 24psi. Its a full weight 3700 lbs car. Car was set at 24psi, on race fuel and ice in the intercooler. Anyhow, I will have the timeslip posted in a few mins.... For those that haven't seen the history behind the car, you can see it below....

That's awsome power, especially considering the small cam in that thing.

Well here is the slip guys... he made 3 passes. 1st pass was aborted due to missed shift. 2nd pass produced the slip. 3rd pass produced a sheared input shaft on the tranny. BTW, this is a D&D T56, so don't think the stocker will handle that...hehe.

BTW, my scanning skills aren't that great, so I didn't know what resolution to set it at. So if it looks fuzzy..sorry..lol. My scanner needs a turbo

Don't know how he is shifting since he didn't tell me that. The tires are 28" ET's

Yeah, heck this car and Jim's LT1 car which has gone 9.6's are awesome examples of daily driven turbocharged monsters.

Yes 3" downpipe still. The Supra guys have been making that power for years, so I figured we should be able to do it. Heck I will be running a 3" with my Supra and the SST-72 turbo, and will be shooting for 900+ with it. A 4" would pick it up though somemore...

Wish I had more info, the customer doesn't get online unfortunately. He is a retired older gentleman. He just has lots of money to spend on turbos and parts breakage..lol. Now I do have a picture of the T88 and the downpipe used as mock up for his T88 and Gen1 system. We copied the downpipe off my car for him...

Here is a picture of the T88 on the Gen 1 system with a 3" downpipe and donut flange. Its a nice snug fit, but it works...
