have a problem under boost? just put my new motor in and when i get it to about 5psi it makes a big pop throught the intake then i just let out off it. before i was running 13 psi and no problem the only difference is i have aluminium heads and custom turbo headers.

it is about 4500rpm the timing is about 25 btc. the car is runiing rich the meter says it is rich as hell. i never had a problem like this before and just cant figure it out. they say the heads will help with detonation. if pull hard as hell until the pop then i just quit. and the car runs the same after the pop as before.

i have two to4b one other mod is i put a intercooler on it. i was talking to a guy at work and he thinks that i might have a cross fire in it some were. either the cap rtr or wires are cross firing. i have order wires but havent made it yet.
