By the time you pay for shipping and everything it's more like $1,200. That's going from a good P1SC to a D1SC. If there's anything wrong with your P1SC, it'll cost you more depending on what's wrong with it.
BTW a "D1" is an oil fed blower with a 4.44 gear ratio VS. a "D1SC" which is a self-contained blower with a 4.0 gear ratio.

Verdad Gallardo I'm making over 600 rwhp with a P1SC on a basically stock Z06. It sounds to me like your problem might be the 112 LSA of your cam... not your P1SC. The P1SC is capable of more than your 42# injectors.
But your 11.1-1 compression ratio helps with that as well as better flowing heads, as well as a better s/c pulley set up which is dog crap on the LS1 F-body kit. The D1-SC has a hard time making a lot of power on an F-body than it does on a C5...same goes for the P1. Comparing a Z with P1 to a LS1 f-body with a P1 is apples and oranges.
So the question has been answered, yes the P1 can be upgraded to a D1 and it'll run you upwards of a grand.
