what do you think about just the cone filter that Autozone?Discount AUto sells?its usually for a ricer cold air intake ,but wouldnt that worK

Hellraiser...with the GT42 looks like the airfilter will be at max 6 inches long.....unless you get a 5 inch elbow and route the airfilter to to another place.....like where the a/c compressor use to sit....or up toward the top of the engine bay. Other than that you will be filterless.
