Safe Boost

I am seeing ten pounds of boost with my radix now, but I am not sure what my cr is now.

Is this amount of boost okay with my stock internals? I haven't dynoed it yet either.

i thought it was safe only to 8-9psi and thats with an FMIC?

Ten pounds should be fine provided you run good fuel and have a safe tune.

Yea. I use 93 only, and Bryan at pcmforless got me the tune. The tranny is still holding up too. I am waiting for the input shaft to go so I can put in a converter in too.

I ran 10psi all the time on the LQ9 stock internals. With cooling, tune, and fuel its absolutely safe, IMO. Drop any one of those and...

Is it a mail order tune???? If so id get it to a dyno and check your A/F. I wouldnt trust a mail order tune.. not that its not good..... for heads and cam... maybe but when the life of my motor is atstake... no way....... id check it or you might be spending some more $$ here in the future.
