The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

My 350rw big block 71rsz is QUICKER w/ no juice then my 572rw SS.
Probably to 1000ft, On the other hand my ttss is FASTER by leaps and bounds then my rsz. They would probably tie ET in the 1/4, the rsz at 110mph the ss at 130.
Ones setup, ones still stock suspension, and bald tires.
On the street the SS wins hands down, at the same time the rsz is braking 115 the SS would be doing 160+
And coming out of a hard corner the boost comes on smoothe and hard and plants the *** and digs like a mother.
Some people like to let off after ¼ mile, some like to keep their foot in it in till they red line 5th.
both equally good but I fall into the latter group.I feel w/ a little suspension work and tires my SS will do both well.
My goal is simple, 10.1 on the quarter (10.1 because if I ever do 10.0 id be shooting for 9's) - 1.2 g's on the skid pad, and 201mph top speed.
ha- should have saved up for a new zo6.
the bfg's and nittos are useless now the MT's I have not tried.
The American jets are fast! Maybe I need to shoot for a Japanese Airliner?
this 1000hp beast is not going to hook from a stop.... so we can forget about that... assume we're going from a roll... (like every supra race you've ever seen on the internet.
j/k) ok, so now we're going 40-60mph on the hwy.. you still cant punch it unless you have a long lag in your turbo.... so you ease swiftly into it...
ooh, look! you're doing 120+ easily.. hell with 1000hp, 150 comes up awful fast.
not much of a street race, more of a sign of ignorance. 90% of the people with enough knowlege of cars to build somthing like that, are not going to "race" on the street... fool around? perhaps occasionally... but not outright race.
the remaining 10% either live out west where theres enough space to almost get away with that crap, or they're just stupid.
