Default what are the differences of 98-02 exhaust manifolds?

I'm getting some mixed answers here and would like to get them strait if anyone knows the answer.

Do 98 and 02 manifolds share the same mounting points and bolt patterens?

We've been building our budget kits off 02 manifolds which is suppose to flow more than the 98-01 manifolds. Be we were told the 98-01 share the same bolt patterens and flange locations. Just did some reading and off road y-pipes are made for different years. Can someone clear this up for me?

wow John I didnt think about this but yes 98-99 manifolds are different from 00+. You cannot use a 98-99 manifold with 00+ y pipe. On my kit you can just use the 02 design since thats what I have for manifolds anyways.

the y pipes are different because the cats are different. but they bolt patters will bolt up to the heads... just gonna have to make it work with the exhaust on our own i would say

Might as well try to get the 02 manifolds. Its not like the 01s are going to be much cheaper. Just my .02

00-02 are the same dimensions are each other 98-99 are different. (if my memory is correct)

2000 is its own year for exhaust parts due to still having EGR but going back to the old technology of cast manifolds, vs the 2 layer stainless ones on the 98-99 cars.

Either the air connection or egr connection changed in the 2000s.
