Default Electric Fans for FI

I need to order fans and wanted to know what you guys were using. I was looking at the Flex-a-Lite Low Profile Cooling Fans Part #240 I think but they cost $209 I was wondering if this is what everyone here was using.

Thanks

has anyone ever though about using hte stock fans as pushers?

I dont have A/C and am going to try to put hte stockers in front and reverse the polarity on them and they will spin the other way

ust a thought, I dont think it would fit if you have the AC condensor in place

Any idea what the specs are on the #240 vs the fan that comes with the ATI kits, is is bigger or dose it flow more ect. I just installed a ATI supplied unit and dont want to have any heating issues, this summer cant go any bigger due to clearance issue with a custom setup.

Dual-Unit fans for V8's to 280HP (250HP with A/C).
12'' fans. Requires 15-1/2''x26-1/4''x4-18'' mounting surface area. Pulls 2500cfm of air using 19.5 amps

Thats right from jegs.

So I take it this setup is a lot larger than the supplied ATI 1 fan setup. or dose it use the same space as the 1 fan???

they will spin the other way if you reverse the polarity.... problem is the fans blades are not designed to do that. I tried it before ordering fans and they move considerably more air as pullers. I just ordered to high speed pusher 12" fans from spal

They work for me??

If you want to try....try to get spal duals as pushers....don't think they make em but...
I live in the desert, drive to the track on city streets which is about 26mi from my house in stop and go and my car stays nice and cold. I do have my fans programmed to come on at 180 but thats so the engine doesn't have a chance to get too hot. Car always runs in the 190 range.
