02' Procharged WS.6 vs. 04' KB Cobra

Topend has more to do with torque bud not hp. Its common knowledge that roots have that weakness. Look at the torque dropping off after 4k. You proved my point thanks. Now does anyone have a turbo dyno sheet.

My 03 Cobra ran 7.22 @ 98 mph with 130 hp LESS than your friend has so If he can drive you might be in trouble.
A KB cobra with 550 to the tire should run mid tens all day and the stories about the rearends breaking are a little blown up.
I have watched a ton of cobras run in the tens with stock rears. If you let them wheel hop they will break right away.
Good luck and go get him.

[QUOTE=slow][QUOTE=unit213]I'm baffled by the lack of knowledge in this thread. Incredible.
Ditto
KB cobra's are no joke, with a good tune and fuel system.
Ryan You, sir, know your KB Cobras. A fuel system is needed past 600rwhp. It must be upgrades past 500rwhp.
...and it's ALL in the tune!

Yes indeedy it is getting deep in here. As far as tq falling off after 4000 rpm, dude are you ******* dumb? The car is dynoing 490+ rwtq from 3000-5500 rpms. That is a great tq curve. You need to stop playing on the internet and go race.
I give the nod to the ws6 but it is still going to be a very close race.

I think it will be close. With both cars making equal HP, I would think that the KB Cobra would have the better low end, which would give it a slight advantage off the line(with traction). You are a 6 speed, so you can get right into the powerband or the ATI, which helps, plus the lower weight. It would be a drivers race like everybody else said. Just make sure you get a video!

I know some gentlemen that have gone 10.8-10.9x on nitto drag radials in KB Cobras. And the sad news is that they are full weight. I'm not saying exactly what their hp/tq numbers were, I think they were a little higher. They did trap 133 in the 1/4. Good luck, make sure to cut a good 60'.

I attached a turbo dyno sheet from TTi's website. Do you see the torque fall off as well. There goes your theory.
