So did this break because it was weak or did the stock tq arm cause this?
BMR says that the trans mounted TA is good for 11.00 and higher passes, and I KNOW you have a 10 sec car, so my guess would be the trans mounted TA. Sucks to see that though, would have loved to see you carry the front tires
Yea Inspector12 i hear ya, Hardtop00SS up there, was pulling his wheel up that same night with a stock tq arm/6-speed and heavy 17x9's in the front... i don't get it

Smokin... i had just put some prostars on with 11.50" ET streets on the night before.. plus they were treating the track due to some big guys running that night.
I am looking at buying a spohn TA second hand.. either way i am not putting the stocker back on.
So i am also wondering if i should send this DS in to Denny's to get checked over though it seems fine.

when I was just heads and cam I was doing a little comparison driving on the street with a buddy. Had the ET Streets on, and launched the car, herd this huge pop, and then a tapping on the floor board. I immedatly freaked, limped home, and was expecting the worst, took the torque arm off and it was broken in 4 places, all the bolt holes were ripped, and the front tounge peice was in the mount, not on the TA

MM... yea it's ashame nobody close to me had one just laying around that i could have used.... I'm an idiot...
1a-play.... no times of yet.. just got the car running.. and i am using edit but i didn't have much time before the track to get things right so i had my meth on full blast, really cool IAT's and a ton of fuel via the pe table... so the tune was waaay fat. my afr was pegged on the rich side even in the burnout box where the car was running rough. Again, i shouldn't have rushed things.. i am lucky i didn't toast the engine as well.
