Default Pusher Fans

Hey what are the strongest pusher electric fans that you guys use with the turbo right behind the radiator? Or what is the strongest you've herd of? I dont have much room between my radiator and intercooler. I had to move the radiator forward some and it is straight up and down. Thanks

P.S. its on a 94 camaro

I'm using twin Trimline 114s from Flex-A-Lite. In hindsight, I could've went w/ a pair of 394s, but oh well.

I think the stockers with shroud are like 3200-3400cfm.
I got the spal fans referred to above (Thanks Chris!) for about the same price.

Another flow related question.

Would one large single fan, be better than 2 smaller fans ??

I have 2 x 10" fans, staggered on my radiator, but If i leave it to idle long enough, the temperature does creep up more than I would like.

I think I could squeeze a 16" single fan in instead, again pushing. Dont have room for a sucker fan. In theory the 16" should cover a much greater core area, than the 2 smaller fans, which would probably be better even if the fan actually flowed less ???

Does that make sense ?

Do you have a shroud or are the fans just on the radiator?

With me blowing from front, thru the rad, no shroud.

No real room for a shroud either. I dont think you would put a shroud on a blow through application anyway ??

Current setup.

Yes pusher fans benefit from a shroud, helps create a venturi effect to increase the velocity as well as directs the flow onto the specified area.

Wouldnt a shroud around a pusher fan only restrict natural airflow through the rad once the car is moving ??

the air is going to take the path of least resistance.

without a shroud guess where that is.

over, under, to the side, but not thru the radiator where you want it.

the shroud is a must if you want any chance of it being effective.
