Bryan running on any one of those tires will be a waste at your power level, if indeed your car is truly making the power it is. I already know your car wont et worth a **** being that your a stick tire and gonna run on drag radials...I'm just interested in seeing your mph.

Bryan sounds like you got lucky. I haven't been as lucky with Charlotte cops. Every time I have ever got pulled over I have received the speed that I was doing. I did make a couple of 130 MPH passes yesterday out on 485 running a bike and didn't get a ticket but think I ended up worse since I had a ton of smoke coming from the car after the race and even a little inside the car. This is Brandon with the stock looking red 94 Z28 as well if you didn't know who it was.

Save yourself some time and don't bother with the street tires for testing. No sense in wasting your time swapping tires when you could be making good learning passes and practice launching to see what the car is really about.
Drop the Nittos to 17-18lbs and roll into it. You'll probably break them loose at least twice on each pass but you'll get used to it. Get 2 or three passes within .5mph of eac hother and you've validated your real HP.
The baby slick is going to give up some comfort level at the top end for a little traction at the line. Since ET isn't your big goal right now it's probably not going to matter as much as you feeling relaxed at the end of the track.
Pump gas can get it done.

17" slicks are not going to hook at your power level with a stick. Danimal at Speed Inc. smoked his for over half the track.
