(Non Sponsor) turbo street kit is a good option for 450 to 600 rwhp depending on options. You can get a brand new kit for I think $4500 with the intercooler.

I have one with the T-76 and at 10psi I am making 500rw through an A4 on a Mustang dyno with a safe tune. After I upgrade to a bigger FMIC and add some fuel I might be able to get close to 600 with more boost and timing. PM me if you want more info.

Default Shopping around

I have been looking on eBay lately at the turbos some of the people have for sale, but I have no idea which ones to look for and which ones to stay away from. I am wanting to make a 500rwhp 2000 SS Camaro on turbo. What turbo should I try to obtain? I see the Garrett name a lot. Size of turbo would also help. Thanks.

EVERYONE who doesnt know about turbos should
A) read all the stickies in this section
B) get a book or 2 just to become more familiar with FI
C) call or pm Jose at Forced Inductions for help on reaching your goals with your setup.

Buy "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell - it's an excellent book and will give you a great overview of performance turbocharger setups on gas engines... if you're really considering going forced induction, JUST BUY THE BOOK. It'll be the best $20 you spend on your setup.

Correct me if I'm wrong... "Cheapest Forced Induction." Isn't that phrase an oxymoron?
