Phamspeed Budget kit retail prices now up
These prices are not carved in stone and could move around alittle in the next week or so
Complete kit w/o FMIC- $3850
Complete kit w/ FMIC- $4500
Each kit is 100% complete. Comes with
Precision T70 turbo (no cheap international turbos)
Tial 44mm wastegate
Mild steel crossover pipe (connects manifolds to turbo)
Mild steel downpipe
Mild steel mid pipe (replaces cats)
Charge pipes or FMIC pipes
All silicone hoses for charge pipes
T-bolt clamps
oil feed and drain lines and fittings
All gaskets
All nuts and bolts
Air filter
*base tune program* This is just to get you running and is not a fine tune
Installation instructions
The kits will be complete with everything you need to do the install. Only thing we left out were the cooling fans which can be had for $50 a piece all the way up to $200 a piece.
Charge pipes will be complete with all silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps.
FMIC kits will have all piping, silicone couplers, and t-bolt clamps
Exhaust will be routed all the way back to the catback. The exhaust part of the kit will consist of 3 pieces and will connect together with stainless band clamps which we will supply. The kit will connect to either a stock catback or any aftermarket catback
Unlike our previous kits were you had to fabricate this or that, we are offering complete kits, no fabricating involved.
The base kit w/o fmic is good up to about 6psi which is about 450rwhp. With a fmic you could run up to 600rwhp. Upgraded turbos are also available.
For the time being, please pm me with any questions or ordering. I'm trying to get Ground Zero Motorsports setup as a sponser since they will be distributing the kits. Once that happens which should be this week, you can forward all your questions and orders to them

****, OK I'm game, can I get it without the tune though? The down and mid pipe will go all the way to connect to the cat back? I take it no catalytic converter. Will I need to go get O2 sims? Should I pick up bigger injectors along with this or are the stockers large enough? Can you recommend fans? Possibly a NON_SPONSOR that sounds like hummit part number? Is it possible to get the standard kit now and upgrade to the intercooled later down the line if I feel I want more oomph? What about a blow off valave is that extra or included? Any guages?

If you are shooting for the masses, this is far from a complete kit. If you claim 100% than mean it. I would have to buy fans, fab up wiring and brackets to make them work? How is that 100% complete?
If I want to add an IC to my Camaro SS will I have to cut up my car to make the IC fit? If I do, I consider that fabricating.
Your price is not too bad but now your going to compete with the Turbo Tech kit which is a full complete kit (5-8lbs boost) with no hacking of the car and you can use stock fans. I know you might say the Turbo Tech kit IC is not in a great location, but it's better than not having one at all.
I still want a Turbo kit, I currently have a "Turbo Cam" in my car (226 222 116lsa).
Before I would ever buy your turbo kit, I would like to see the kit installed on a Camaro, any pics?
You know what I want, can you deliver?

150 bucks for an intercooler but the pipes running to/from it are 500???
All this so some guys can answer the phones for you. Ahh the cost of progress.
You had a great idea with the budget kit, but it didn't last long.

These prices are still not too bad. I would say it could still sell for $500 bucks cheaper, especially considering there is no header fabrication. Either way...its still another turbo alternative for us fbody enthusiasts.
For those of you that think its too expensive, fab your own manifold kit up. I am doing my own turbo kit for my LT1 using SLP headers (instead of manifolds) and its some serious work. However, my kit will only run me ~$3200 max. Here is what I have so far:
Precision T76 GTQ .81 A/r - $950
.96 A/r housing, v-band flanges for hot side - $350
SLP headers - $400
50mm BOV - $225
2.5" cross over piping - $50
OBX FMIC - $290
I still need
3" piping for down pipe ($100)
44mm wastegate ($400)
wastegate tubing to connect to downpipe (~$10)
3" intercooler piping and couplers (~$150 on ebay)
clamps
oil lines (free from work)
vacuum lines (free from work)
manual boost controller ($15 on ebay)
Filter screen instead of using K&N filter (~$30 on turbo mustangs)
So far I have paid $2265 and I will need ~$700-1000 on the parts I havent ordered yet and finishing touches.

Now it's in the catagory with STS's base level turbo, except their pipes are HPC coated and they included guages in their kit. They may not include a "base" tune, but what good is it anyway? I mean if it is a basic tune I won't drive my car with that, I'll most likely take it to a shop and have it dyno tuned, making the basic tune a waste of money.
i think this is why the fbody aftermarket will never reach that of say the mustang. mustang people dont bitch about everything thats released. if you dont like it move on. ive seen it for so long with body stuff. if someone doesnt like it, then its rice. and after its called rice, its like an infectious disease, everyone will think that. so what reason do aftermarket companies have for making new and different things?

but yeah I do agree, the budget kit was a great idea, but obviously that is dead now.....still a decent value, but it can now be considered with the other kits

its suddenly not a good deal anymore, id rather go with the sts, for like 200 dollars more and not have to redo fans and lilttle trivial things, i was saving up for the 2300 dollar kit, but now i think ill go cam/exhaust/nitrous rought, sad day when a kid like me has to look away from FI

Figuring time, labor and materials in I bet they lost money on every kit they sold. Why do you think they are doing this - like everyone else they would like to be paid for their time. I swear some of you guys probably cuss out toll booth operators because the toll is too high
I kick myself for not ordering a set of tube manifolds, that was giveaway pricing on the hot parts before and I'm not surprised they quit making them. 4500.00 with an intercooler and all the pipes isnt that far ot of line, if you are bitching about wiring and buying a couple hundred worth of fans you best stay away from a forced induction car because by the time its all over that wil be the least of your concerns.
