Default procharger ?

Hey guys got my procharger setup installed, fmic , vortec bypass d1s , nice system right at 9 ps1 on stock engine. . . love the set up but def need more power..... iam new to ls1 s and was wondering where do i look for a 408 at? pm me let me know i need a setup just for supercharging , i wana run ALOT more boost..... is the 408 built off my stock block or do they use 6.0 block and heads??? what all do i need to put together a bullit proof 408 and how much psi can i throw at it??? THANKS

Check W2W for a 408. I heard they are one of the best in making short blocks. I think u will also need something larger than the P-1SC. Get a F1-R with 408cid and that should be enough for 700-800rwhp. Good luck.

SDPC sells a forged 402 for like $3,999. for starters. They are a sponsor here.

are the 408s made off a 6.0 block??? what heads should i run ..? i dont have the p1s-c i have the d1s-c

how many ps1 can you run on a good low compression 408? like the slp shortblock??

I would guess 10-12 lbs with the d1sc on a 408. You may be able to run more than that, but the d1 will be close to being maxed out, not to mention belt slip issues. The F1 would be a better choice for running high boost in a stroker.

i have the 8 rib upgrade on my d series , . . . how many psi can i run with a bigger charger on a 408 ? is the slp 408 a good setup for boost
