Default o2 before or after the turbo.

I have been told that 02 sensors are pressure sensitive. Is this correct or not.

My O2 is in my downpipe. EGT is before the turbo.

My problem is 2 downpipes, one O2 sensor. oops.

We put 'em in the downpipe, heard the pressure will affect 'em too...

Not sure if they are pressure sensitive. I think they are more sensitive to heat. I placed one on the crossover and one on the down pipe. Seems tobe working fine.

I was told that they were sensative to pressure. ALSO when I read the Instruction on the UEGO it said to place it after the turbo! Lata, Ark

Grand nationals used to run the old one wire sensor before the turbo, I think the NON_SPONSOR kit had it before the turbo too.

Kurt at W2W told me to put the O2 sensor in the downpipe when I ordered my BS3 unit, but it's a wideband sensor.

Rule of thumb guys....

Wideband is after the turbo on the DP...about 6 inches down.

Narrowband can be before the turbo.
