Default New intake arrives

Finally the back order is over and our Edelbrock intake has arrived. Unfortunatly we had to buy the ignition system with it to get the intake. The intake looks very nice for the high power cars looking for this type of induction. Also has o-ring seals for the port runners.

He just got it...give him time to drill and tig.

It looks taller, but the runners look smaller. BUT...you don't have to run a cheesy gasket.

dang it, i already bought the GMPP, oh well, those gaskets being built in are sure a nice feature, something you would think GMPP would have thought of, since the original deisgners did
oh well, live and learn

The GMPP intake was not designed by GM, it was made by Wergner Automotive Racing.

why not just wait a few months until the Edelbrock EFI manifold comes out with the longer runners, injector bosses already machined, and you don't have to buy the timing controller? that's what i'm doing. and getting their 1150cfm tb as well.

Nice, but do the o-ring grooves accept the GM factory o-rings, or is it an Edelbrock part? Thanks for the info Kurt

Factory o-rings fit it. It seems very nice quality, as you would expect from Edelbrock.

It is about .700 taller than the GMPP/Wegner.
It is the Victor jr intake.
