What do you think about a Garrett GTP-38 (99-05 Ford Powerstroke Diesel) for a single turbo setup on an stock cubed LS1?

NO, those junk turbos. Bad about smoking....lol. I would use a Holset before I messed with those units.

I run a hx35 on my rear mount 5.3 l33 setup on my 92 camaro makes 9 pounds of boost no problem at all, Running alky as well, thing flys.....

hx 55 small one with 67mm comp.wheel 5.9 ltr 480 hp desiel. large hx 55 has 70 mm comp wheel,8.3 ltr 600 hp, also have hx 60 with 80 mm comp, wheel. 10.8 ltr 700hp desiel.
