Unhappy What kit???Noob

i was researching alot on the forum but i still can not find what kit is a good kit worth the $$$$ i will pay for it. I was looking at several kits but I also need to know what upgrades will be needed on stock car. Thanks guys for any help on this matter thanks.

well i was going for something that could be used in a daily driver and not kill me in the mpg area. Or one that is bang for my buck.

After some question postin' and alot of lurkin' my research has led me to decide on what's in my sig.

Yes the STS turbo kit, it's easy to install, fairly cheap, and improves gas mileage. Its like turning your car into a Viper in one Saturday. It creates a very fat torque curve that makes your car that much more streetable

are the gains what the sts site claims??

Or there is the Phamspeed kit, but that requires a little more work on your own than the STS kit. Also don't forget to upgrade your fuel system, it is always a good idea to do that.

Please let us know when you get that thing installed as we haven't seen any LS1 results, but those LT1 results look pretty killer (as it's basically the same kit)

I made 490/450 to the wheels with the T76 upgrade and a TRT FMIC on 7#... On an absolutely stock LS1 except for springs (to prevent valve float), long tube headers, and a power steering pulley.

Rear end eventually, my stock 10-bolt w/ 4:10's was whining in agony before... Now it just plain screams - It hit a tone yesterday with it's whine that actually made my inner ears hurt. Good thing the 12-bolt should be in soon!
