I was beating the **** out of the car. Made 11 passes from 10pm-12am.I was hoping to get to 15, but ran out of wastegate spring first. It will only go 13 psi in 4th gear

13 psi is a moderate boost level. Thats all this waste gate spring lets me go with the boost controller set on kill (maxxed out greddy profec b spec 2). 10 psi is 28%. Boost is pretty much irrelevant as long as the car doesn't detonate or melt (crosses fingers). I get zero knock on this boost level except false stuff on the launch. Timing was 14 degrees at tq peak and 20 by 6k. Gas was a 60/40 mix of 100 and 91.
I'm really beginning to think people who run c16 in these cars at anything under 25 psi are wasting their money (if they have a good tune). In cool weather the car will run on this same tune on just 91 octane using 50/50 water meth, but when I know i'm going to beat on it i put some 100 in it. Since it's summer I have 3 less degrees timing and only run a max of 11 psi on 91.
I'm hoping the stocker will hold out for a while longer. I'm seriously thinking about doing lq9's, thicker gaskets and arp studs. Then the low boost will be 10 and high like 16-17.... or I could put the 50 shot on it

like Chris said remember is Vegas altitude and heat.
wonder how fast that would be near sea level?
low 11's????

The car is fun on highway rolls though, can you say bike hunting
Did some research on correction factors for altitude and F/I, you get half ( 1/2 ) the "normal" SAE correction value of N/A. Not sure your track specs but an extra 0.5 seconds or so quicker at sea level is about right.
Boost on!

Good work Zombie, your motivating me to find time to get my **** together instead of it collecting dust.

now that's funny, I don't care who you are.
