Super Charger Lesson
You will need tuning, gauges(boost and fuel pressure), fuel pump, and fuel injectors(42# or larger). You can see the mods I have in my sig and on my site, and the pathetic power I'm making, and problems with the car...
Injector sizing all depends on how much power you want to make. 42# injectors will hold up to about 550rwhp forced induction. I am planning on getting a big motor (408ci) so I got larger injectors to accomodate for this.
You do not need a cam swap, however a cam will get you a little more power from the motor. You can still make engine destroying power with a stock cam. FI cams are usually "split" pattern cams, with more duration and lift on the exhaust, such as a 224/228. My cam isn't the greatest for FI, but I feel its better than stock.
So you didnt answer my first question, did you buy just the head unit, or a entire kit?

Even better than ATI, give Bob at EPP 260-483-9300 a call he can beat ATI,s prices and set you in the right direction with everything you need. Even fill you in on which cam as well.

I push 16 psi through my D1 and the only reason it works is because of the SDCE.

~6000 RPM peak power
Blower Speed is ~55000 rpm.
I run a very large custom front mount and intercooler setup (only about 18" of piping total). If you are running the ATI kit, you may not be able to get to 16 psi even on the D1 due to the twin intercooler restriction. With the P1, maxed (spun to 65k, 3k over max) you'll probably only get a smidge above 14 psi.
All of the cars that we have maxed the P1 out on (only done with the SDCE) with the stock ATI piping and intercooler, they peak boost was between 13-14 psi. The cars all put down between 610-650 RWHP.
