Default which is a better street cam for blower?

218/226 115 XER
or
224/230 115 XER

I only want to rev to 6500 and make lots of power throughout the rpm range not just up top.

Does the fuel system that comes with the stock Vortech kit provide enough fuel to boost to 12 lbs safely?

The smaller one will do fine.I run 220/224's in blower cars and make 700+hp while retaining stock drivability and emmision legal

Yep my 224/230 is very good drivability and I make good power I don't see 12lbs but I have heads also. I don't know what pulley you are planning on running but I have run the 2.65" for a while now and now I have the 2.5 on and I haven't tunned it yet so I can't tell you what PSI I will see with it I would guess around 8 as I was seeing around 7 before so we will see soon. Besides just remember the boost number is just the LBS of resistance. I am sill moving the same amount of air just more effeiciently.
Looks good Jeff.

I'm running the 2.95" pulley now if I have to I can put the 2.75" on but I don't think it will be necessary but I could be wrong. With the 2.95" pulley I was seeing 9 almost 10lbs at 6,000, now I'm gonna shift a little higher so we'll see.

my goal is to run 12 lbs I estimate the power to be making the same power as in your sig, hopefully a little more !

Will I have to get a smaller belt for the 2.75"?

Which lowering springs are you using, I have a set of BMR's I need to put on my car, its a damn 4 x 4.

Yeah you will need a smaller belt for the 2.75" pulley. I dought you will see those kind of boost numbers with a cam and 2.75" JMO. I hope you do though. Good luck with your goals Jeff! I curently have Hotchkis suspension all around I have QA1's on the way the rear Hals shocks are already on though. Hope you have plans for a better fuel system and injectors speaking from experiece. Let me know if you need any help with your setup I maynot be an expert at everything but I have been working with this kit a while and have a few ideas on it.

ok cool my friend has the 2.75 pulley if I need it along with 50 lb injectors too.

If the car makes good power (550 plus) at 8 lbs I'll be happy but I want to push it as much as I can without maxing out the blower.

The T-rex fuel pump will be maxed out at around 550 just to let you know. Sounds like you have a plan so let us know how you do.

Well if your running a 2.95" then you just reduced it by.20 with is just a little less than a 1/4 inch. Just see what they have to offer that is smaller than what you have and go from there. I never ran the 2.75" pulley I had a friend run one. You can also call Vortech and ask them what the part number or lenght would be with the 2.75" they sell that pulley so thay should know. I don't know what power I am makeing now for sure, but just say a a few more. I don't know what differences you and I have I have Jet hots and a Corsa TEA 6.0 heads I have a 224/230 cam of my choise of lifts etc...on XER lobes some little stuff maybe. I think the heads are worth about 40hp just guessing though.
