Sts Problem. Heloo,
i have problem with my sts kit.i install pistons and rods soo i can goo for more boost.the car was ok but after few days the oil level is going down when i race the oile leavel stay at 40 when i stop or drive the car at town the oil leavel is under 40 sometime its 30 or some time its 20 the gage leval. and the turbo dosent want to spin.befor that i was running 15 psi and when the rpm gose over 4500 RPM i hear some noise from the mice that is inside the car that comes with the sts harnes.

By level do you mean pressure at the gauge? Are you running a different oil than before, viscosity? Or maybe you have a broken piston and your sucking oil into the exhaust which is causing the turbo to not spool up properly. If this was the case though you would probably have huge plumes of white smoke. A simple compression test would probably help you out a lot in the diagnoses. That's what I suggest first. Wolfee

thanks for healp.yeas i mean the oil pressure but i dont think that i have broking piston because i gust install my piston and rods 2 weeks ago.i toke my car to the dayno and the car made 580hp at 15 psi at 5000rpm after that the AFR is running lean that why i stoped the car intell i get the mony for the fuel system. after that i drive may car and i loked at the oil pressure and i found it under 40 some one is tealling me that is the oil pump maybe is bad or ther is some peas the is back of the block if it is not in it will not let the oil gose up and i am going to see that after tow dayes and i dont see any sucking oil into the exhaust or white smoke.becuse i orady hade broken piston and i changed all my pistons and rods.

turbo-max and Wolfee: try to be a little more open-minded. At one time we were all immigrants and had a tough time adapting. Unless you are an American Indian, how about having some compassion, without the stereotyping, and help the guy out?
firehawk123: check your basics first - 1) take off your oil feed line and return line and make sure you have oil flowing through both. 2) if the turbo wheel is not spinning, while the car is running, then it's possible the turbo is bad or is not getting oil to provide the adequate lubrication for it to spin. In turn, your oil is being blocked at some point in the oil supply. 3) check all filters, lines, connections, etc for blockage.
